Ah, snacking. Who doesn’t love it? Most of the time, snack time exists to subdue some sort of craving you’re having during the day. Vegan Keto Snack Attack Menu
- Protein Bars – Great for pre and post-workout snacking
- Seaweed Vegan Keto Snacks
- Nuts and Nut Butter Spreads
- Vegan Keto Snacks for Chocoholics
- Cookies, Snack Bars, and Bites to Delight
- Veggie Snacks, Chips, and Crisps – vegan keto-approved, of course!
1. Protein Bars
Protein Bars have come along way from where they started. Remember the protein bars that were loaded with artificial ingredients and sweeteners, tasted gross and masqueraded as “sweets and candies”? “Healthy snacks” that were hard as rocks but chewy at the same time!? Yum, yum, not.
I’m sure more than a few of you tried those out-dated meal-replacement diets where you get to have a “shake” twice a day and a “balanced meal” at night. To mix it up you could have a “meal-replacement protein bar”. Yay for saying bye-bye to the good ol’ days, ay?
Today we are lucky to have brands that cater to those of us who are redefining the snack culture from high sodium, high sugar heart-attacks-waiting-to-happen into kind and keto, sugar-free, dairy-free protein bars that taste great, and are made with the “right stuff”.
Beware of Keto bars that don’t say they’re vegan. Many of these may contain no dairy but could have collagen added, which is made from cows! Also, check for whey powder protein, which is dairy. And as always, watch out for added sugar and the net carb count.
1. 1 No Cow Protein Bars
Here’s an amazing tasting vegan keto snack that comes super close to the real taste of cinnamon rolls, all while being keto-friendly, with dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan ingredients that’ll give you that extra kick you need for work, play, or just a good, tasty moment. They are high in fiber too!
No Cow protein bars come in some crazy flavors. Check them out on Amazon, here. One box has 12 bars. each bar has 21g protein, 17g fiber, 3g net carbs, and 1g sugar.
These are vegan, keto, organic, soy-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO. Get them in 5 flavors. S’mores are my best bar by far. Each box has 12 bars.
10g protein, 5g fiber, 8g net carbs, 4g sugar.
IQ Bars are hard to beat for nutrient value. Each bar contains 6 brain nutrients. They come 12 per box. Choose from 10 flavors. Choc Sea Salt, Matcha Chai, and Banana Nut are my top 3 flavors. lemon Blueberry didn’t do it for me, but that’s probably personal preference, not IQ’s fault!
Each bar has 3g net carbs, 12g fat, 12g protein, only 1g sugar, 6g fiber. Each bar is 45g. One bar has 10%RDV magnesium and they also have iron, calcium, and potassium values just under 10% RDV.
2. Seaweed Vegan Keto Snacks
I love the ocean, I love the beach, I love dolphins, turtles, sand dollars (pansy shells), and seaweeds. I am fascinated by sea vegetables and seaweeds. Growing up we never had the amazing array of packaged seaweed snacks we get today. So indulge me while I share the complete range of seaweeds you can now get in snack form! Black, brown, green, red, nutrient-dense like you won’t believe, and so versatile. You can often buy the seaweed vegan keto snack packs in packs of 20 or more. So they can be eaten straight from the bag but are also super handy to have in the pantry because you can add them to salads, as toppings to soups, or use nori sheets as vegan keto “tortillas” or wraps. I feel the need for weed! Seaweed!!
This seaweed jerky has such amazing umami. They are so addictive. AKUA is a fairly new addition to our online shopping list and I really like the products they have created. I chose this specific item because it comes in a pack of three. So it’s a great way for you to try out all the flavors.
In this variety pack you’ll get 3 varieties:
- Spicy Thai & Spirulina
- Rosemary & Maple BBQ
- Sesame & Nori Sea Salt
These snacks are uber nutrient-dense. And also sustainably produced from an ocean-farm in Maine. They tick all the Kind&Keto boxes:
- 100% vegan
- sustainably sourced
- keto approved
One bag has 10g protein, 10g fiber (huge bonus), and contains 100% of your RDI in Vitamin B1 (1mg), B2 (2mg), and iodine. It has 80% RDI of iron (14mg) and is high in potassium, calcium, Vitamin D, and C.
Buy these nutrient-dense roasted snacks in 6 flavors. Buy in packs of 20. There are quite a few brands that compete with these. Generally, they are all pretty good and around the same price. They are usually nori. If you like you can buy plain nori sheets, spread them with your fave nut butter, sprinkle with desiccated coconut, roll up, cut into bite-sized sizes chunks. Sounds weird right? Try them, pimp them your own way, and give us some feedback.
gimME seaweed snacks are sustainably cultivated and harvested in South Korea. They are great for adding to packed school lunches. They contain no artificial additives or preservatives The flavors are:
- Extra Virgin live Oil
- Avocado Oil and Sea Salt
- Toasted Sesame
- Sea Salt
Where nori is black and sometimes gree, kelp is brown. These snacks are also nutrient-dense (like all organic 100% seaweed products) The only added ingredients are flaxseed, onion, sunflower seeds, and sea salt, all organic. Ten out of ten for this vegan keto snack.
Each pack contains 3.2oz which is 2 servings. each serving has 14g fiber, 9g fat, 5g net carbs, and 11g protein.
This is not strictly a vegan keto snack, but it is a great addition to snacks like frozen desserts and smoothies. Why? Because it’s tasteless and had multiple health benefits. If you are one of those people who are extreme when it comes to getting the most nutrients out of everything then this wildcrafted, mineral-rich sea moss is an essential ingredient to add to the pantry. It has to be soaked and develops into a gel, which forms a great base for smoothies and shakes. It can even be used instead of cream in soups.
This specific brand comes from Maine, as a whole vegetable, so you can totally have it as a snack. It is often sold as flakes, which is ideal for cooking with or adding to smoothies. but this version is a bit like the seaweed jerky mentioned above. And like all the seaweed vegan keto snacks, it’s uber nutritious, loaded with minerals.
Aaah! Baby seaweed, that sounds so cute! This range of baby seaweeds includes baby wakame. Fresh from the Atlantic, ticking all the usual boxes. It’s non-GMO, comes in bio-degradable packaging, and of course, it’s vegan. the freeze-drying technique locks in the flavor, freshness, and nutrients.
It comes in 18g resealable pouches. 1g of flakes equals 25g of fresh seaweed. It’s a great addition to smoothies, soups, and salads.
I’ve been sprinkling this brand over my popcorn, which in theory sounds great but I end up licking it out the bottom of the bowl, so ten out of ten for salty yumminess, 2 out of ten for popcorn sprinkles! LOL!
The more you eat seaweed snacks the more familiar you become with the different texture and tastes of each kind. Although in this case, it’s a mix of seaweeds. So you get the benefit of more minerals and goodness. I love that it has a bit of black nori, a bit of red dulse, and a bit of green sea lettuce.
But my latest discovery trumps everything! This stuff is divine sprinkled over lightly steamed cauliflower. And yes it’s a snack! Eating vegan keto snacks has no limits or boxes. We really are free radicals!
3. Nuts and Nut Butter Spreads
I’m freaking out at the moment with this find. My advice before I even divulge the array of 7 nuts and seeds, get the 1lb 10oz jar because even though they have smaller pouches (12oz packs) this nut butter will not last long in a household of 4. If you have kids that take packed lunches to school then it’s well worth budgeting for the 2Go pack of ten. And it works out cheaper per ounce than splashing out on the pack of 60. Weird, cos I thought bulk buying worked out cheaper. But it doesn’t so always compare!
And by the way, the 1lb 10oz jar works out the cheapest per ounce. This keto nut butter is made from almonds, pecans, Brazils, macadamia, flaxseed, and chia! Whaaat!
Another good point is that it contains no palm oil. Remember to check foods for palm oil. Think of the Orangutans, who are being threatened because of our need for palm oil.
Ok, so this isn’t exactly something you would eat from a bag. Thing is, we just wanted to keep it inclusive for all types of snack eaters out there! Sometimes, you’re just craving a spoonful of peanut butter (which is also a good choice) and just relish on it for a few seconds and go on with your day. It sometimes takes a creamy treat to get you going. This medley of nuts is excellent, totally organic, with no added artificial sweetness and definitely a vegan keto snack full of goodness. The nuts are pecan, walnut, almonds, and cashews.
We couldn’t miss our lovely almonds on this list. This might be one of my favorites actually. It’s always best to add them to your other snacks, dairy-free yogurts or smoothies for an extra crunch. They’re so good! Grab a bag of these and run, cause they’re pretty great after a workout, jog, or yoga class. Rest assured almonds are a definitive vegan keto favorite.
These are totally raw, which means there are no negative additives, sugars, and have all that plant-based fatty goodness us ketotarians are on the lookout for. Read our article on how and why you should activate nuts, here.
This vegan keto nut butter has 3g net carbs, 17g fat, and 5g protein per serving. Each squeeze pack has 3 servings. This product
4. Vegan Keto Snacks For Chocoholics
4.1 Choc Zero Keto Bark
A chocolate snack craving is really specific, don’t you think? The good thing is, you don’t have to give it up. Especially when you find organic brands making some enticing chocolate. This is a vegan keto snack with only 3g net carbs per serving! Talk about guilt-free, right?
They taste super smooth, it melts great (if you’re wanting to top off some vegan-keto ice cream), and has the perfect amount of sweetness from its plant-based sweeteners.
Made with stone-ground premium cacao beans.
Another vegan keto snack favorite. Cacao nibs are a snack that deserves to make it to this list. Sure, you can sprinkle these chocolatey bites onto other recipes, but you can also be a bit controversial and have them straight from the bag when your chocolate craving kicks in – and that’s totally fine!
Especially being a vegan keto snack you can conveniently grab at your nearest Whole Foods. Next time you’re in the mood for baking vegan keto cookies, you’ll definitely thank us for mentioning these.

It’s sweetened with stevia and is just some exquisite stuff. This chocolate is from a non-GMO source and is all plant-based. So, if you’ve got that chocolate craving, grab a piece of this chocolate and go on with your day, it’ll definitely be a moment.
5. Cookies, Snack Bars, and Bites to Delight
These bars contain eggs and dairy, firmly planting them in the ketotarian snack pile list. But these are super healthy and packed with nutrients. Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love cookie dough? The distinctive thing about these is that you keep them in the fridge, so once you eat them it’s one heck of a delectable treat. And you can taste the healthiness of it all. If you’re lucky enough (which you will be), you’ll find bigger morsels of dark chocolate hidden in there for an extra boost of flavor. Get these ketotarian bars on Amazon now!
They contain 17g fat, 9g protein, and only 3g net carbs.
You can get these delicious dessert bites in their variety pack and relish on the moment you get to eat them. Just wow, they’re so good! Much knowledge comes from searching for a kinder and healthier way of eating, you’d be amazed at how many companies are making keto & vegan-friendly snacking alternatives. These come in four flavors: Double Dark Chocolate, Snickerdoodle, Matcha Latte, and Dark Chocolate Almond Butter.I can’t get enough of these 100% plant-based treats.
These contain whey protein so they’ll be suitable for ketotarians but not vegans on keto. Also always check keto cookie ingredient labels cos they can contain collagen (derived from animals)
These you just have to try. The chocolate is creamy and the crunchy texture from the almonds on top is celestial. It’s great for when the cravings kick in and you’re opening your fridge every other minute. When you find these, you’ll be more than satisfied. This is a 100% vegan keto snack you can get straight from Amazon and shipped right to your doorstep, which is amazing. These are 98% fat, so if you’re on a roll with your ketosis, you’ll love these.
6. Veggie Snacks, Chips, and Crisps
If you’ve been looking for keto-friendly vegan snacks you have to get a hold of these coconut chips! I didn’t know they existed until a while back and I was blown away by the flavor and overall invention of these. Really, I didn’t know this was actually possible to make. After being surprised for about a minute, I not only learned that these are heavenly savory (they add a pinch of salt to them), but they are also energizing and contain no added sugars. 100% vegan and keto, a snack for the gods, really.
Pro tip: You can also have them in their crunchy goodness by adding them to your favorite smoothie bowls, salads, dairy-free yogurts, and other mixes.
Asparagus, artichokes, and french beans. These veggies are packed separately, steamed and marinated in aromatic herb combos, and tossed in olive oil. You can order just one kind or go for the variety pack which has four packets of each veg (12 pack). Awesome for road trips. And beach picnics.
Kale is one of those veggies everyone was talking about at some point. Who would’ve thought it would now come in chip form? Talk about convenient. Not only will you be eating your veggies, but you’ll also be snacking like a star. No guilt, all healthy goodness.
These are pretty convenient when you get those savory cravings mid-morning or before dinner time. These are totally organic, vegan-friendly, and contain healthy proteins. You’ll be having these stored in your pantry after this, we promise.
These Rhythm Kale Chips come in packs of 4 and there are 4 flavors. You can buy the variety pack of 4 or just buy 4 of one flavor. The Mango Habenero is also available in packs of 12.
These seeds are perfect vegan keto snacks. 9g protein, 7g omega-3 & 6, 4g fiber. Perfect for people who have allergies to nuts, soy, dairy, or eggs. Indigenous to Peru, also called jungle peanuts. Different flavors available but sea salt or plain unsalted is probably best for vegan keto.
Final Thoughts: Vegan Keto Snacks
On one hand, vegan keto is a restrictive diet but on the other hand, you get to eat a lot of things that are restricted (or deemed bad) when you follow other types of eating plans. Vegan keto is not only about eating healthier, but it’s also about eating kinder. We are not only being kinder to our own bodies but to the environment as a whole!
It’s an experience that takes time and will ultimately teach you (and anybody curious about it) how to take care of our ecosystem, bodies and the natural assets that already exist within reach. Eating plant-based can be difficult at first, but luckily, we are now living in an era in which there are many conscious brands out there launching vegan keto products, adding their little grain of sand to keeping the world kinder and healthier.
No need to worry! There are many options when it comes to keto vegan snacks. You don’t really have to give in to the cravings by consuming non-healthy snacks. You can conveniently find options that are just a click away.
